Quick blog here.
In keeping with previous year trends (though they made the announcement a little earlier this year), on December 2 the IRS extended the deadline to deliver 1095-C forms to employees.
The due date for delivering 1095-C forms to employees has moved from January 31 to March 2, 2020. The extension provides an additional month to complete and furnish the forms.
Additionally, good-faith relief for incomplete information has also been extended for the 2019 filing year. This does not apply to late filing.
There is no extension for IRS filing. The deadline still remains February 28, 2020 for paper filing and March 31, 2020 for electronic filing.
Enjoy the early Christmas present!
