Our services include benefits strategy, plan design, data analytics, compliance support, and full-service administration such as enrollment, eligibility, dependent eligibility auditing, retiree billing, COBRA, ACA reporting, workers’ compensation self-insured administration and FSA/HRA/HSA administration.

We work almost exclusively with public sector organizations, including counties, cities, towns, villages, school districts, BOCES, community colleges, public authorities, housing authorities, libraries, and other municipal and governmental entities. This specialized focus provides us with a deep understanding of the unique regulatory, labor, procurement, governance, and budgetary challenges facing public employers. As a result, we can deliver solutions specifically tailored to the operational and financial needs of the public sector.

Unlike traditional brokers, Benetech integrates consulting, administration, and technology into one unified service model. We are fully independent—meaning no ownership ties to insurance carriers or vendors—and we operate with complete transparency. Our recommendations are driven solely by what is in our clients’ best interest.

Our preference is to operate on a transparent, fee-based model and eliminate commissions whenever possible. If commissions cannot be removed (such as with certain community rated policies), we accept them in lieu of fees and fully disclose them.

By analyzing actual claims and utilization data, we identify actionable opportunities to improve plan design, optimize vendor performance, and guide members toward high-quality, cost-effective care.
